في مجال الأجهزة والمعدات الطبية, تتوفر مجموعة واسعة من عقود الصيانة. تستطيع مؤسسات الرعاية الصحية في الوقت الحالي الاعتماد على تخصيص هذه العقود بناءً على احتياجاتها من خلال التفاوض مع مقدمي الخدمات. ولكن، بشكل عام، هناك بعض العقود التقليدية الشائعة في المجال والمتوفرة لدى معظم الشركات. ومن أمثلة العقود التقليدية ما يلي:
 
1)   العقود الشاملة (Full-Service Contracts): تغطي هذه العقود كل من قطع الغيار، العمالة، والصيانة الوقائية، وتتوفر خدمتها على مدار الساعة، طوال أيام الأسبوع.
2)   العقود الشاملة خلال ساعات العمل (Comprehensive Contracts during Business Hours): توفر نفس الخدمات المذكورة في النوع الاول، لكن خلال ساعات العمل التقليدية من الأحد إلى الخميس (من الساعة 8 صباحًا حتى 5 مساءً).
3)   عقود الصيانة الوقائية (PM Contracts): تركز هذه العقود على الصيانة الوقائية الدورية للأجهزة الطبية فقط.
4)   عقود العمالة (Labor Contracts): تغطي الإصلاحات والأعطال التي قد تظهر خلال فترة العقد، دون تضمين تكلفة قطع الغيار.
5)   عقود قطع الغيار (Spare Parts Contracts): تقتصر هذه العقود على توفير قطع الغيار المطلوبة للأجهزة الطبية.
6)   عقود الخدمة حسب الطلب (Time & Material contracts): في هذه العقود، لا يتم الدفع مقدمًا، بل تعتمد التكلفة على مدة الخدمة وقطع الغيار المستخدمة أثناء الصيانة.
 
In the field of medical equipment, there is a broad array of maintenance contracts available. Nowadays, healthcare institutions can customize these contracts based on their specific needs by negotiating with service providers. However, there are some traditional contracts prevalent in the field and available from most service providers. Examples of these traditional contracts include:

1) Comprehensive Service Contracts: These contracts cover spare parts, labor, and preventive maintenance, offering services round the clock, seven days a week.

2) Comprehensive Contracts during Business Hours: They provide the same services as the comprehensive contracts but are limited to standard business hours from Sunday to Thursday (from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

3) Preventive Maintenance (PM) Contracts: These contracts solely focus on the periodic preventive maintenance of medical devices.

4) Labor Contracts: These cover repairs and malfunctions that might occur during the contract period, excluding the cost of spare parts.

5) Spare Parts Contracts: As the name suggests, these contracts are exclusively for providing the necessary spare parts for medical devices.

6) Time & Material Contracts: Under these agreements, payment isn't made upfront; instead, costs are based on the service duration and the spare parts used during maintenance.
